A ferry service from Kuala Kedah (mainland) to Langkawi operates 8 times daily. The journey takes approximately 1 hour. Departures by the hour from 9am to 8pm.

Ferry service is also available from Penang on a daily basis. The journey from Penang to Langkawi is approximately 2 hours.
