The Pulau Payar Marine Park, established off the west coast of Peninsular Malaysia is actually made up of three islands which are Pulau Payar, Pulau Kaca, Pulau Lembu and Pulau Segantang. It is located 15 nautical miles west of Kuala Kedah, 19 nautical miles south of Langkawi Island and 32 nautical miles north of Penang Island. It is also the first marine park in Malaysia, being established since 1985.
Dive season in Langkawi starts from February to November, which is practically all-year-round.
